No Claims on Flowering Plants

Please be aware that the trucking companies do not accept claims on flowering plants and neither can Morning Dew.

Shipping flowering plants from FL is different than shipping foliage. Flowering crops are grown under higher light levels, in many cases, hot FL sun. The plants are watered twice a day during production. The plants are well watered before shipping, then sleeved and loaded on the truck. The plant goes without water, light, or good air circulation until it reaches you!

Upon receiving your order, first be sure the count is correct, if any discrepancies note them on the bill of lading and inform the truckline. After you get the paperwork straight, unsleeve the plants and water well. Some of the material may appear severely wilted. Do not panic! Remove the yellow and dead leaves, and any old blooms.

When the plants are no longer under stress, spray for insects. Many of these crops are grown near vegetable farms and not grown in greenhouses.

We cannot guarantee that the plants will be insect free!
